Basra enjoys writing, music, dance, photography, and calligraphy. Some fun facts about Basra are she has given a TED talk, has been to 15 countries, and loves collecting stationary. Her dream job is researching Neuroscience/Psychiatry while treating patients. On-campus, she is involved in Active Minds, Neuroscience Interdisciplinary Council, Honors College, and EMU Forensics. She chose EMU because of the abundance of resources and how she feels like a valued student.
